Job Overview

The Risk Management Coordinator plays a critical role in independently monitoring compliance, reviewing client investment policies, and managing coding in Bloomberg AIM. This hybrid role requires the ability to handle tasks autonomously while proactively highlighting areas of concern. The successful candidate will support and lead key aspects of the firm's regulatory compliance program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently monitor compliance using tools like Bloomberg AIM and analyze findings to identify potential risks.
  • Review existing policies, suggest changes based on evolving regulatory conditions, and document recommendations.
  • Handle coding processes with minimal supervision and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews, especially in high-risk areas, and document findings in detailed compliance reports.
  • Support compliance reviews of client statements, including internal and external follow-ups on deficiencies.
  • Assess potential risks, highlight significant risks to senior staff, and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Draft, review, and suggest policy amendments, ensuring feasibility and accuracy before implementation.
  • Prepare and submit filings, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness in all regulatory activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, reviewing them periodically for adherence to guidelines.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess advanced compliance certifications and/or FINRA supervisory registrations. A strong background in risk management, finance, or a related field is essential.

Compensation Details

The estimated salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
