Maintenance Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Thrive Communities. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the physical integrity of our communities, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
  • Inspect and coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
  • Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
Requirements:
  • Prior maintenance experience in property management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in unit turns and appliance repair is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects.
  • Weekends and listed schedule days are required.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage.
  • Supplies own tools.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day.
  • Occasional need to bend, stoop, squat, climb stairs, push or pull, and reach above shoulder.
  • Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 150 lbs on occasion.
