We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Tech/Unit Secretary to join our team at Community Memorial Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care services and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our medical units.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and efficient patient care services under the direction of licensed nurses and medical staff.
- Assist with unit staffing, recording information in medical records, and ensuring timely completion of reporting and documentation.
- Perform administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One year of experience in nursing/patient care assistant duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility
- One year of experience in administrative/unit secretarial duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
