Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to meet the unique needs of each resident. You will work collaboratively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to unlicensed assistive personnel as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
