• $245,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with department chairmen and physicians on all aspects of running the service
• Performing annual physics program audits and calibrating patient management equipment
• Ensuring compliance with radiation safety regulations and requirements
• Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs and activities
• Teaching resident physicians radiation therapy physics and equipment operation

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Master's degree or PhD in Medical Physics
• Certification in Medical Physics from the American Board of Radiology
• A current NYS License as a Medical Physicist in Therapeutic Radiology
