Job Summary

Easterseals Massachusetts Inc is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will provide individualized services that focus on unlocking every client's full potential. You will work in a variety of settings, including schools, day habilitation programs, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and early intervention programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy across different settings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training
  • Perform clinical evaluations based on acceptable standards of practice
  • Establish a plan of care with realistic, objective goals
  • Design and implement a treatment program with consideration of the client's diagnosis and environment
  • Educate client and caregivers in appropriate therapeutic techniques to promote clinical outcomes
  • Supervise speech assistants and aides, as appropriate

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved master's level program in speech & language pathology
  • Valid/current professional license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
  • Massachusetts DESE Educator License (or in process)
  • Ability to travel to/between multiple work locations
  • Must pass extensive background checks and provide professional references
