Position Summary
This role is pivotal in overseeing the clinical operations within the Assisted Living Department, ensuring that all residents receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and supervise medications in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as Senior Lifestyle Corporation policies.
- Provide expert consultation on health-related matters within the community.
- Communicate promptly with physicians and family members regarding any changes in residents' health status.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
- Foster open communication with all departments and team members.
- Uphold the confidentiality of residents and prospective residents at all times.
- Conduct educational sessions for both residents and staff.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Compassionate, professional, and empathetic demeanor.
- A valid Registered Nurse's License in the practicing state and current CPR certification.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical nursing environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to maintain a positive attitude towards residents and colleagues.
