Mortuary Affairs Specialist

As a Mortuary Affairs Specialist with the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in handling the remains and personal effects of fallen soldiers. This is a highly respected and compassionate role that requires specialized medical training and a strong sense of duty.
Key Responsibilities- Locate and identify remains in the field
- Ensure safe transport of the deceased and their belongings
- Assist with arrangements and military honors at burial sites
- Inventory and safeguard personal effects
- Work as a specialist at the U.S. Army's Central Identification Laboratory in Hawaii
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
- Be between 17 and 34 years old
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Meet Tattoo Guidelines
- Have no Major Law Violations
- Have no Medical Concerns
