Job Summary

As a Mortuary Affairs Specialist with the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in handling the remains and personal effects of fallen soldiers. This is a highly respected and compassionate role that requires specialized medical training and a strong sense of duty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Locate and identify remains in the field
  • Ensure safe transport of the deceased and their belongings
  • Assist with arrangements and military honors at burial sites
  • Inventory and safeguard personal effects
  • Work as a specialist at the U.S. Army's Central Identification Laboratory in Hawaii
Requirements
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
  • Be between 17 and 34 years old
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines
  • Have no Major Law Violations
  • Have no Medical Concerns
