Job Overview

Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Field: Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing

Key Location: Phoenix, AZ

Incentive: Eligible for Quarterly Shop Bonus Plan, up to $300 per quarter

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive manufacturing process plans for new product lines
  • Enhance existing manufacturing processes and equipment for current products
  • Review and update existing manufacturing process plans for subsequent production lots
  • Design fixtures for CNC machining and related production activities
  • Address manufacturing challenges with promptness and efficiency
  • Collaborate with programming, production, and management teams
  • Ensure high product quality and optimal manufacturing yield

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Thorough understanding and solid experience with CNC machining
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software - Solidworks preferred
  • Experience collaborating with major aerospace manufacturers
  • Skilled in creating detailed process routers and manufacturing drawings
  • Familiarity with ancillary metal processing techniques (e.g., heat treatment, anodizing, plating)
  • Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and technical specifications, with strong GD&T skills
  • Capability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong skills in writing and editing operational instructions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication abilities
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles is advantageous
