We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Rehabilitation Services team at Novant Health. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support the rehabilitation process.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including implementing treatment plans and modifying them as needed.
- Collect and accurately document clinical information, including Functional Independence Measures (FIM) or other standardized outcomes measures.
- Participate in education, training, and quality improvement efforts to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Apply sound judgment in managing assignments, problem-solving, and communicating with patients, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of North Carolina.
- Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant school.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
