Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to become a vital part of our team at Green Meadows Home Health Care Inc. In this position, you will assist patients in their recovery from injuries and illnesses, helping them regain mobility and alleviate discomfort. Physical therapy assistants play a crucial role in the direct support of patients, while also engaging in tasks that facilitate patient care, such as preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient movement, and performing administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care strategies
  • Administer prescribed medications and observe patients for any adverse effects or reactions
  • Record changes in patient conditions and communicate these updates to the supervising therapist
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care and share observations with the supervising staff
Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of employment
  • Prior experience as a PTA is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • First aid and CPR certification is mandatory
