Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care to the residents of the health and rehabilitation center, assisting them in activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. The CNA's duties include bathing, dressing, serving and collecting food trays, feeding residents, measuring and recording weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.

Qualifications

To be successful as a CNA at our facility, you must have a current Virginia Nurse Aide license in good standing or be within 100 days of completion of a state-approved CNA course. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well in a team environment, and demonstrate empathy and compassion for our patients.
