Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Handyman Service Professional to join our team. As a Handyman Service Professional, you will be responsible for completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects. You will work independently, communicating with customers to understand their needs and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.

Responsibilities
  • Completing Maintenance & Repairs: You will complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, working independently and using your own tools.
  • Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations: You will communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.
  • Create Life-Long Customers: You will deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers, following the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time.
How We'll Measure Performance
  • Customer Satisfaction (NPS): You will encourage customers to complete a survey for them to rate their satisfaction with the service, aiming for a high response rate and high satisfaction rate.
  • Revenue Target: You will work to stay with customers and find additional ways to be of service to them, contributing to the company's revenue target.
  • Effective Billing Rate: You will invoice appropriately, source any needed materials, and collect payment from customers, ensuring an effective billing rate.
  • Recall Percentage: You will guarantee all your work for one year, ensuring that the work is done correctly and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Live within the area
  • Have 5+ years' experience as a paid handyman
  • Own your own tools
  • Be insurable for driving our vehicle
  • Complete a background and driving record check
  • Able to lift 50 pounds independently
  • Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time
  • Maintain a professional appearance and company-provided vehicle
Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $25 to $35, dependent on your experience as a professional handyman and your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, holidays, health, dental, and accident insurance, as well as a company matching IRA.
