Medical Assistant

At ConvenientMD, we're seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting healthcare providers, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Interaction: Engage with patients in a welcoming and professional manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance and information regarding their medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Support clinical operations and patient care by conducting preliminary evaluations, performing basic clinical procedures, and documenting patient information accurately.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications under the supervision and direction of licensed healthcare providers, adhering to state regulations and guidelines for medication administration.
- Collaboration with Clinical Team: Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Certification or Experience: Medical Assisting certification with at least one year of experience or two years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
- Compassionate and Patient-Focused: Supports patients through kindness and demonstrates understanding for others.
- Proactive and Confident Communicator: Foreshadows and elevates concerns as they arise, unafraid of professional directness.
- Trustworthy: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
