Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Palliative Medicine Physician to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a Senior Staff Physician in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and scholarly work within our Hospice and Palliative Medicine Programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care as an Attending Physician on our interdisciplinary inpatient palliative medicine consultative service and inpatient hospice services at Henry Ford Hospital.
- Supervise and train medical students, residents, fellows, and other interdisciplinary learners as clinical faculty for our ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program.
- Participate in scholarly activities in education, quality improvement, and research.
- Initial board certification in a primary specialty.
- Board-certification or Board-eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
- Palliative Medicine Fellowship training or other comparable experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
