Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team in Berkeley, California.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in radiographic procedures and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
  • May have individual responsibility for specified radiographic procedures and/or be assigned various duties including student instructions and lead duties.
Requirements

Education: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Certification & Licensure: CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist, RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy, ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.

Preferred Experience: Competent in components of radiographic practice as determined to be adequate by the Assistant Director.

Work Environment

Job Shift: Day/Evening/Night

Schedule: Per Diem/Casual

Shift Hours: 8

Days of the Week: Variable

Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend
