Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Berkeley, California.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a radiologist or supervisor, the Radiologic Technologist will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The ideal candidate will have the ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, utilizing independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including radiographic imaging, fluoroscopy, and other diagnostic imaging modalities.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required, including student instructions and lead duties.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, imaging results, and quality control data.
Requirements:
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist, RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy, ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
Preferred Experience:

Competent in components of radiographic practice as determined to be adequate by the Assistant Director.

Work Schedule:

Per Diem/Casual, Day/Evening/Night shifts, 8 hours per shift, Variable days, Every other Weekend.
