Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager is a critical role at Arundel Lodge, Inc. that plays a vital part in creating a positive and supportive environment for individuals with mental health, physical health, and substance abuse challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the needs and goals of all individuals on the assigned caseload.
  • Assist individuals with developing and achieving their goals, assessing their stages of change, and applying interventions as needed.
  • Provide daily living skills support and supervision in the absence of the Manager.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of residences, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Coordinate individuals' somatic and psychiatric needs, including medication monitoring and review of medication supplies.
  • Assist with new admissions and apply crisis intervention techniques as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field, or 60 credit hours with relevant experience.
  • At least one year of experience working in the mental health/psychosocial rehabilitation field, or two years with 60 credits.
