This role is crucial in ensuring the quality of food prepared, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding patients and children from allergies and cross-contamination. The Production Cook will oversee all food production for the hospital cafeteria, which operates during breakfast and lunch hours.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Prepare and serve a variety of foods, including hot grilled and deep-fried items for patients, cafeteria patrons, and catering events, adhering to established recipes.
  3. Conduct basic cold food preparation for salads, desserts, and setups for various meal services.
  4. Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing work areas, cooking equipment, and storage facilities. Properly label, date, and store leftover food items.
  5. Restock supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
