Hughes Network Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Project Engineer to join our team in the Hughes Network Systems division. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, developing, and executing projects that drive our satellite communication solutions forward.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in avionics, telecommunications, or related disciplines, with experience designing or modifying aircraft hardware, aircraft structures, and avionics. Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards, such as RTCA DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254, is also essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, initiate, and manage STC Projects from conception to completion
  • Coordinating and managing engineering projects to ensure the successful development, certification, and deployment of in-flight connectivity systems
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables and ensure they are achieved on time and within budget
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement changes as necessary
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical documentation

The successful candidate will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
