We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Gastroenterology team at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis. As a key member of our medical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial patient assessments, gather information, and prepare charts for discussion with physicians.
- Work with physicians to create personalized care plans for patients.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
- Document delivery of healthcare and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer.
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification from a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ANCC, NCC, or state licensing board).
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
