Job Summary

Thomas Cuisine is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils, and place them in racks to be washed in the dish machine.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, and carry them to the cook's line and other storage areas.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand, and ensure they are properly sanitized.
  • Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Set up and break down the dishwashing area, and perform general kitchen cleaning duties.
  • Wipe up spills and ensure kitchen floors remain dry and free of hazards.
Requirements
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Basic reading skills to read labels on chemicals and workplace safety procedures.
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
  • Knowledge of and ability to adhere to workplace safety procedures.
  • ServSafe certificate a plus.
