Position Overview:
The Limited Radiologic Technologist is responsible for preparing and conducting standard x-ray examinations, adhering to proper techniques and positioning as per provider directives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and maintain accurate medical records.
- Utilize x-ray equipment effectively and report any equipment malfunctions to the imaging supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating all necessary radiologic machinery.
- Demonstrate proficiency in positioning patients and equipment to capture optimal diagnostic images.
- Implement appropriate shielding measures to ensure patient safety.
- Adjust radiation exposure settings based on individual patient needs or examination specifications.
- Utilize CR and DR systems for imaging.
- Evaluate images for quality attributes such as density, contrast, and distortion.
- Store and transmit images as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills:
