Overview:
This role involves engaging in sales and customer service activities, including the following responsibilities:
- Executing sales and customer service functions.
- Handling cashier duties, maintaining stockroom organization, and ensuring store cleanliness as required.
- Adhering to company standards for personal sales performance metrics.
Physical Requirements:
This position necessitates standing for approximately 5 to 8 hours daily, typically 3 to 5 days a week. During peak sales seasons, extended hours may be required, ranging from 1 to 12 hours a day.
Responsibilities include bending and kneeling to assist customers with merchandise, as well as reaching and pulling to manage stock on storage shelves. Climbing ladders or navigating stairs may be necessary to stock or retrieve merchandise for sale.
Regular lifting of items weighing between 5 to 25 lbs is expected, with the possibility of handling heavier weights in certain situations.
Compensation:
The starting pay for the Retail Sales Associate position is $18.29 per hour. This role is also eligible for the company’s 401K plan.
