About the Role:

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care services. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and personalized care to our patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and administration.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, perform waived testing, and interpret results to inform care decisions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Idaho.
  • Current BLS certification and renewal as required.
  • Complete ACLS and PEARS certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate vital sign monitoring devices and IV delivery pumps.
