Casualty Actuary Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Casualty Actuary Manager to lead our pricing team. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $145,000 - $175,000 per year, based on location and experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the pricing process, ensuring that rates and price charges are actuarially sound. You will design, implement, and oversee continuous rate and price monitoring processes, working closely with underwriting and senior management to develop sound rate and pricing recommendations.

As a key member of our team, you will analyze and communicate the impact of industry loss cost filings, overseeing the maintenance and monitoring of large account pricing models. You will also conduct segment profitability analysis to identify trends and investigate alternative approaches to segmentation. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to provide actuarial guidance in support of predictive modeling efforts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of actuarial experience and successful completion of at least five examinations from the Casualty Actuarial Society. They will also have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
