At the forefront of the renewable energy revolution, Peak Demand is seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Process Optimization Expert to join their team. With over 40 years of experience in manufacturing high-quality solar panels, our client is a North American leader in the industry.

As a key member of the team, the Renewable Energy Process Optimization Expert will play a crucial role in improving production processes and managing projects to boost manufacturing efficiency. This will involve working closely with different teams to design and implement systems that reduce downtime, ensure smooth production, and meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to manage multiple projects, while developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEAs) for new production lines. Experience in solar manufacturing or renewable energy is preferred, but not required.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field equivalent experience as a maintenance technician
  • 3 years of experience in automation in a manufacturing setting
  • Expertise in process optimization, equipment layout, and workflow improvement
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of safety systems design

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary of $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional compensation based on performance.
