Position Summary:
The Culinary Support Specialist is responsible for various tasks, including monitoring and documenting food temperatures, setting up and maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area, preparing and serving food items, restocking food supplies, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and processing payments for food and beverages using a computerized register.

This role requires compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines for food service. Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication with patrons and colleagues are essential. The ability to establish strong working relationships and maintain quality control standards is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Exhibit experience in the food industry.
  • Work independently when necessary.
  • Understand food safety and sanitation processes.
  • Be on your feet for extended periods and walk significant distances.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 16 years.
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail cash handling, and food service is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Serv Safe certification may be required based on location.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required based on location.
