Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer in Training to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer in Training, you will assist in the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits, and designs for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits, and designs for assigned projects.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
  • Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
  • Team with Senior Engineer and participate in all the work the Senior Engineer is performing as an observer.
  • Operate engineering software to solve specific problems and input the required data.
  • Familiarize yourself with state-of-the-art design and various state and local regulations.
Requirements
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant degree from an ABET-accredited school.
  • 2-3 years of experience in MEP required.
  • E.I.T. a plus.
