Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing loan files, ensuring adherence to underwriting standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review loan files for completeness and accuracy
  • Communicate with borrowers and mortgage brokers to collect necessary documentation
  • Act as a liaison between origination staff, underwriters, and customers
  • Manage client and referral partner databases
  • Provide administrative support in loan processing and underwriting
  • Coordinate marketing efforts and distribute marketing materials
  • Perform other duties as required by Guild Mortgage Company or the Managing Loan Officer

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with loan origination, including marketing and database management
  • Collect and prepare loan applications with supporting documentation
  • Resolve file issues and bottlenecks throughout the production and underwriting process
  • Provide high-level file management and customer service
  • May perform all Loan Officer duties, including acting as primary point of contact for customers

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in mortgage banking or a related field
  • Active MLO Licensing Required
