Job Summary

The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured products by inspecting and auditing raw materials, products, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Investigate and report scrap product amounts and defect reasons to supervisors and quality managers.
  • Use various measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data using Microsoft Office software.
  • Audit and review production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead production teams in identifying and resolving quality and service issues.
  • Perform structural load tests and analysis within established quality procedures.
  • Communicate production changes and standards to employees through quality, manufacturing, and safety alerts.
  • Provide guidance and training to machine operators on quality standards and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or technical college degree required.
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Frequent exposure to oil and grease.
