As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with our medical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation
    • Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
    • Adjust technique to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
    • Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor or service provider
  • Patient Care
    • Obtain complete clinical history and examination data
    • Assess patient contraindications and follow established procedures
    • Ensure proper patient identification and verification
    • Review images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
  • Quality Control
    • Produce high-quality images and follow established exam protocols
    • Ensure equipment is fully operational prior to each use
    • Send studies to PACS immediately after completion
Requirements
  • Education
    • Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification
  • License and Certification
    • Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients
    • Less than 1 year MRI clinical setting experience preferred
