Position Title: Apprentice Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
  • Assist in the assembly, installation, servicing, and repair of heating, air conditioning, and other HVAC systems.
  • Participate in retrofit installations, ductwork, refrigeration piping, and electrical wiring.
  • Support the installation and replacement of ductwork in commercial settings.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to safe work practices in compliance with OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Currently enrolled in an Apprenticeship program.
  • Entry-level experience with HVAC systems is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions while performing tasks under supervision in isolated environments.
  • Familiarity with the safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary for job assignments.
  • Possession of a valid Vehicle Operator's license.
  • Physical capability to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights.
  • Capability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.
  • Basic knowledge of desktop computers and internet-based programs for required training.
  • Commitment to wearing a company uniform and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • This position will require a background check and drug screening.
