Job Summary

GLOBAL PARKING SYSTEMS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support safe and proper shuttle operations. The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge or experience with shuttle or other dispatched transportation operations, scheduling, and employee management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule vehicles and drivers for fixed route service, covering open shifts on short notice when necessary.
  • Work with basic office equipment, such as phones, faxes, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Be at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform.
  • Courteously assist customers and employees, directing them to the Facility Manager as needed.
  • Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Facilitate monthly driver meetings, company training, and changes to daily operating procedures.
  • Assist Facility Managers with other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Prior knowledge or experience with shuttle or other dispatched transportation operations, scheduling, and employee management.
  • Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, speak, and communicate job-related information in English.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this job include frequent changes between sitting and standing, reaching, and grasping with hands and arms, and talking or hearing using a phone or two-way radio.
