Job Title: Regulatory Specialist

Beacon Hill is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Specialist to join our team in Lake Forest, IL. As a Regulatory Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Legal and Regulatory Departments with monitoring and assessing the implications of existing and pending laws and regulations on RCP products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor federal, state, and local legislation through the legislative process
  • Research and analyze legislative and regulatory matters
  • Maintain legislative and regulatory information in an organized and accessible format
  • Observe public hearings and industry meetings
  • Participate in advocacy and outreach efforts
  • Assist with the preparation of guidance materials on applicable laws and regulations
  • Communicate with and advise the business on legislative and regulatory matters
Requirements:
  • Fundamental understanding of the legislative process
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations
  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Discretion and judgment in dealing with confidential, sensitive, or controversial issues
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, business administration, planning, or communications
  • Three to five years of experience in legislative/government affairs
