Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Whistle Workwear. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitude, and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with requests in store and over the phone, providing personalized service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of products and services, making recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere in our store.
  • Keep an eye on inventory levels, restocking shelves as needed to ensure a well-stocked and organized store.
  • Ring up customers at the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts accurately and efficiently.
  • Tag prices on merchandise, maintaining accurate and up-to-date pricing information.
  • Contribute to the team's daily sales goals, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience or customer service experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong orientation towards providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Demonstrated selling skills, with the ability to effectively promote products and services to customers.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance, adhering to company dress code and grooming standards.
  • Bi-lingual a plus, but not required.
