Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Development: Create precise and comprehensive documentation that illustrates our organization's compliance with NIST standards, including control descriptions and implementation guidance.
- Policy Formulation: Work alongside various teams to design and enhance policies and procedures that are vital for achieving and sustaining NIST compliance.
- Compliance Assessment: Perform detailed gap analyses to pinpoint areas needing improvement in our NIST compliance efforts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with relevant parties to devise and execute remediation strategies.
- Audit Preparation: Support the preparation for audits and assessments concerning NIST compliance, ensuring all necessary documentation is current and accessible.
- Ongoing Development: Keep updated on changes to the NIST framework and related regulations, continuously improving our compliance strategies to meet evolving requirements.
- Effective Communication: Foster strong communication with internal stakeholders, including IT and security teams, to promote a collaborative approach to NIST compliance.

Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of relevant technical writing experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Writer, ideally in a compliance-oriented environment.
- Thorough understanding of NIST Special Publication and its associated controls.
- Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, with a talent for making complex information easily understandable.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setting.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.
- U.S. citizenship is a requirement.
