Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic I-Facilities to join our team at MaineHealth. This role will be responsible for providing ongoing support to all teams, maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds in good repair and appearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance and repair services for buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are in good working order.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Maine Driver's License required.
- Experience in building maintenance and repair preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Basic math skills and ability to solve practical problems.
