Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at LincolnHealth. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining our buildings, equipment, and grounds in good repair and appearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support to all teams at LincolnHealth, ensuring that our facilities are safe and functional.
- Maintain and repair buildings, equipment, and grounds, performing tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and address maintenance needs, and develop solutions to improve facility operations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing filters, checking equipment, and performing preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or equivalent from a college or technical school preferred.
- Valid Maine driver's license required.
- Experience in building maintenance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and compute rate, ratio, and percent.
