About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant with a Limited License in Radiography to join our team at CareATC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support to healthcare professionals
  • Measure and record vital signs, collect blood and urine samples, and maintain exam rooms
  • Perform general administrative duties, including registration, answering phones, and scheduling
  • Exhibit good clinical judgment and follow established protocols for patient care and safety
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect patients, self, and staff from radiation hazards
  • Take X-rays and implement infection control procedures
  • Position patients and take X-rays of specific body parts as requested by healthcare professionals
  • Ensure X-ray images are clear and retake images as necessary
  • Send images to healthcare professionals for review and maintain patient records
  • Perform quality control checks on X-ray equipment and maintain records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one of the following: completion of a Limited License X-ray course from an accredited program, certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART), or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical setting
  • Current BLS and CPR certification and health records with immunization documentation
