Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our rental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing rentals and returns, and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide world-class customer service by managing rentals and returns, ensuring compliance with Thrifty's policies and procedures.
  • Personally welcome customers, assist with questions, and resolve issues professionally.
  • Effectively communicate and offer ancillary products and services to enhance the customer's travel experience.
  • Emphasize selling and revenue maximization on core products, such as options to waive customer responsibility, fuel options, and vehicle upsells.
  • Answer telephone calls in a timely manner, adhering to best practices and policy standards.
  • Liaise with various Thrifty departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and maintain a courteous and expeditious manner.
  • Qualify and process customer rentals with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement by communicating customer feedback and engaging in action planning to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Mandatory Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of sales or customer experience in a high-volume or service-oriented environment.
  • Passion for customer service and attention to detail.
  • Proven strong sales and closing skills, with the ability to communicate in a friendly and engaging manner.
  • Motivated to achieve and exceed targeted goals.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks, demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience working well within a team.
  • 100% customer focus, with proven experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and work overtime as required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for long periods of time.
