Job Title: Court Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Court Specialist to join our team at Osceola County, FL. As a Court Specialist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of the release process for court-ordered releases. This includes reviewing all paperwork for accuracy, updating inmate information in the jail management system, and processing inmate releases in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Processes all court orders received from the courts; calculates, reviews, and updates inmate release calendars
* Performs a wide variety of routine clerical duties processing inmate paperwork, e.g., court cases, court scheduling, sentencing, inmate files review, inmate's requests
* Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of inmate information, including court orders, release dates, and other relevant details
* Collaborates with other agencies to provide and/or confirm information via teletype
* Prepares and maintains a variety of detailed legal records, forms, and reports

Requirements:

* Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Business/Public Administration, Social Services or related field
* Two (2) years of Criminal Justice experience, e.g., Pretrial Release, Probation, or Inmate Records
* Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License
* Must be able to obtain FCIC/NCIC certification within thirty (30) days of hire
