Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Specialist at Kelly Services Inc, you will play a critical role in supporting the production of high-quality products. Your responsibilities will include performing diverse and complex assignments in support of product development and manufacturing, with a focus on manufacturing, assembly, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow work procedures and schematics or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and other records as required by management.
  • Perform manufacturing/assembly operations on multiple product lines and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.
  • Maintain daily production output and participate in quality control inspections when required.
  • Work with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
  • Provide strong manufacturing support on the development and prove out of new products, methods, tools, and test equipment.
  • Perform ongoing quality checks, recording of requested data, and timely reporting of discrepancies.
  • Monitor machine and process variables, taking corrective action as required, and promptly reporting conditions negatively impacting quality, output, or equipment performance.
  • Interface with electronic quality, production, and documentation systems, providing accurate information.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or local equivalent
  • Ability to learn packaging and small part assembly
  • Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Ability to understand and interpret written technical information
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-minded work habits
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple product lines
  • Ability to communicate using English (or local language)
  • Ability to handle small, delicate parts (lamination, bonding layers utilizing epoxy)
  • Ability to multi-task and handle tooling weighing 25 lbs. or less
  • Ability to comfortably use chemicals such as IPA (Acetone & Epoxies)
  • Ability to operate comfortably using microscope to perform job-related tasks
