Electrical Systems Specialist

Tasty Brands/TRACCO is a leading national food manufacturer seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
  
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
  

Troubleshooting and Repair:

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize production downtime and ensure food safety.
  
• Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections to ensure compliance with food safety standards and guidelines.
  

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards and guidelines to ensure the quality of our products.
  

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest electrical technology and industry trends to enhance system reliability and performance.
  
• Suggest and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
  
• Electrician license.
  
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and components.
  
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Familiarity with food manufacturing (USDA/FDA) regulations and standards is a plus.
  
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
