Position Overview:

The Saint Louis Zoo is on the lookout for enthusiastic, dependable, and service-driven individuals for seasonal roles at our Rentals Desk and Treetop Shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cash transactions and ensure accurate handling of funds.
  • Restock merchandise and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide a welcoming experience.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise and maintaining inventory.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

This role offers a starting wage of $13.50 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and availability.


Qualifications:
  • Basic proficiency in mathematics and computer usage is required.
  • Prior experience in retail, particularly with cash registers or POS systems, is preferred.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

All candidates selected for this position will undergo a criminal background check and drug screening.
