Job Summary

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Seasonal Aircraft Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a Seasonal A&P Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing airworthiness of our fleet of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft to meet Sun Country Airlines' stringent maintenance standards.
  • Accurately complete maintenance paperwork and log entries.
  • Enter all maintenance records into our TRAX system.
  • Identify and report potential maintenance issues that could impact daily operations.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Station Supervisors to ensure seamless maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date on-the-job training files.
  • Assist in training new hires as needed.
  • Perform housekeeping duties in maintenance facilities.
  • Move and park aircraft as required.
  • Position ground equipment as needed for maintenance operations.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A&P license required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of line maintenance experience.
  • 2 years of 737NG jet experience.
  • 737NG Familiarization Class.
  • 2 years of experience in aircraft structural repair.
  • Valid US Passport.
Work Environment

This role operates in a maintenance hangar and ramp area, exposing you to various weather conditions.

Physical Demands

This position requires standing, sitting, and walking, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and lift up to 75 pounds.

Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain an MSP SIDA badge and Customs Seal.
