Job Summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and equipment at our customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Commercial Trucks: Safely operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed, promoting a team atmosphere where everyone works together.
  • Class A Truck Operation: Operate a variety of Class A trucks, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, performing manual labor on site to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Placarding and Reporting: Properly placard vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements, maintaining daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
  • Compliance and Safety: Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules, safely operating vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL: Possess a valid Class A CDL and be able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
  • Physical Abilities: Perform physical functions per job requirements, successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use various mobile devices and perform tasks related to the job.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Commercial Driver Experience: Previous experience as a commercial driver, preferably with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
  • Manual Labor Experience: Previous experience with manual labor, including operating a manual transmission.
