Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Assist healthcare providers with exams, procedures, and patient care tasks.
  • Prepare patients for exams, collect laboratory specimens, and perform basic lab tests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic medical records.
  • Order and manage medical supplies, including laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities, including training and education on point-of-care testing.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including HIPAA and FERPA.
Requirements:
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Paramedic certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Proficiency in performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and administering injections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
