Addiction Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Medicine Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in the development and treatment of substance use disorders in patients at MGB Salem Hospital.
Primary responsibilities will include providing guidance on the development and treatment of substance use disorders in the outpatient setting, including the intensive outpatient program. You will also participate in hospital-wide, community-based, and MGB SUD task forces.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of substance use issues and significant mental health concerns with adolescents and adults.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and families.
- Intensive attention and concentration skills.
- Sensitivity to cultural issues of patients served by the program.
- Ability to facilitate group communication between levels of service.
Preferred qualifications include a minimum of five years of experience in the treatment of SUD patients, including patients who struggle with co-occurring disorders, and a minimum of two years of supervisory experience to clinicians.
