ERP Programmer Job Description

Amentum is seeking a skilled ERP Programmer to support the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations.

This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers.

This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that includes planning, training, testing, implementation, and delivery of any customized modules.
  • Manage the implementation of ERP software modules, interfaces, conversions, or technical infrastructure.
  • Document and communicate business requirements, systems design, and implementation plans.
  • Implement and maintain new functionalities in order to adapt ERP software to client needs.
  • Troubleshoot technical and functional problems, bugs, and issues related to implementation and maintenance of the client ERP suite, as well as the related customizations and interfaces.
  • Test patches and upgrades to determine the impact they have on the application's functionality.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of data exchange between ERP and other tools.
  • Write technical documentation.
  • Interface directly with end-users, developers, and other IT staff.
  • Provide technical leadership, training, and mentoring to users and ERP process owners.
  • May participate in the implementation and maintenance of other enterprise tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent.
  • 1-10+ years of experience.
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance.
